A view of a Dash 8 aircraft, from almost directly in front. It is turning onto a runway, as evidenced by the nose wheel turned about 45 degrees. The fuselage and tail are black and the wings are white, with black spinners on each of the two engines. The propellors are blurred due to spinning. Behind can be seen a nearby hill, some distant hills, and some bright grey sky. All of these are distorted by heat haze given off by the engines. Also visible just to the left of the aircraft is a diffuser array for attenuating jet blast. In the foreground some of the airfield grass is visible, along with some small lights and a sign. A bird is sitting on the grass just off the runway.
