Varying my walk to work, I decided to wander around Te Papa this morning. The city was gleaming.

A bronze statue is in the left of the frame, standing by a waterfront at night. The statue is of a bald, muscular man, shown from the side and back, gazing out across the water. In the background, a city skyline is brightly illuminated with many buildings, tall and short, as well as lighting on the waterfront itself. The lights are reflected in the calm water below. The sky is dark, and the colourful reflections from the city lights create a vibrant pattern on the water’s surface. The overall mood is calm and contemplative.
