Like a flight of wartime raiders, these three Tōrea kept low over the water.

Three black and white Oystercatcher birds with long, bright orange beaks are flying low over water. Their wings are outstretched and they are almost parallel to the water’s surface. The water is very calm, creating clear reflections below each bird. The water has soft, blurred reflections of the sky and distant hills. The scene feels peaceful and serene.
