LBJ

Another photographer introduced me to the term “LBJ (Little Brown Job)”. She used it in reference to a House Sparrow. This is a Dunnock (or Hedge Sparrow).

A small, fluffy bird is perched on a thin, bare branch against a clear blue sky. The bird has a light brown and gray plumage with a slightly rounded body and a short tail. Its beak is short and pointed, and its eyes are dark and alert. The branch it is sitting on has no leaves, with a few smaller twigs extending from it. The overall scene is calm and serene, highlighting the simplicity and beauty of nature.
