Ika Rere

Ika = Fish. Rere = run/flow/fly.

I guess Wellington’s electric harbour ferry is a flying fish.

The image shows a modern catamaran-style ferry docked at a pier. The ferry is named "IKA RERE" and has a distinctive design with a light turquoise color and a pattern of diagonal white lines. The upper part of the ferry is white with a blue stripe running along the windows. The ferry has logos and text on its side, including "East by West" and "Powered by Meridian." The background features a building with a light blue facade and a white roof, along with some flags and a few people visible on the pier. The water in the foreground is a clear turquoise color.
