Liftoff

A Kōtuku Ngutupapa (Royal Spoonbill) lifts off from the shallows near Motukaraka Point.

The image shows a white bird, a Royal Spoonbill, taking flight just above the surface of a body of water. The bird has long, slender black legs and a long, curved black bill. Its wings are spread wide with water streaming off its feet. The water below reflects the bird's image, creating a mirror-like effect. The background is a blurred mix of green and gray tones, suggesting a natural setting. The overall scene conveys a sense of grace and motion.
