Still on my bucket list to see in the wild, this stuffed specimen was at Te Wairoa Buried Village, near Rotorua.

The image shows a taxidermy display of a bird perched on a branch. The bird is gray with a slightly darker shade on its wings and tail. It has a black beak and has small, bright blue fleshy sacs at the base of its beak.
