Today’s on-this-day photo is borrowed from the 18th.

It was taken at Ardmore on 18th November 2006, not long after the Tongan airline Peau Vava’u ceased operations after its offices burned down. The airline never operated again.

The Jestream 41 aircraft, A3-XRH, was operated by Origin Pacific, whose colours it closely matches. It was at one time registered ZK-JSM and a sister craft to ZK-JSK pictured nearly two weeks ago.

The aircraft is a mid grey with dark blue on the botton, separated by a thin gold stripe. It is sitting on tarmac adjacent to grass. The sky is rainy and the ground is wet.
