Today’s on-this-day photo is again from 2006 and shows a type I truly miss seeing.

This is Air New Zealand Boeing 767-300ER, ZK-NCL, departing Auckland just on sunset.

The aircraft is white with teal-blue tail and grey undersides. It has just taken off, gear still down, against a bright sky. It is lit by the sunset behind the photographer.
