Longer

Today’s on-this-day photo is another of questionable technical quality, taken in 2004.

It depicts Origin Pacific’s Bae Jetstream 42, ZK-JSK. I always enjoyed seeing this aircraft as most Jetstreams in New Zealand are ’31 and ’32 models. I think the design looks better with the longer fuselage.

The aircraft is a very pale grey with very dark blue underside and top of fin. There is a gold cheat line and gold and grey curved lines on the fin. The titles on the upper fuselage are in the blue and gold. It us sunny with a scattered cloud and the airport terminal is visible behind, along with houses on the hills.
