Today’s on-this-day photo is from 2006 at Auckland International Airport.

It depicts Air New Zealand Boeing 767-300ER, ZK-NCL, Thai Airways Airbus A340-600, HS-TNE, Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200ER, 9M-MRQ, and Air Pacific Boeing 747-400, DQ-FJL, crowding into the terminal on a rainy day.

The aircraft appear in a bit of a jumble, one behind the other with only the tail visible of the nearest and almost the entire aircraft of the furthest. There are many colours. It is raining.
