The random air show photo of the day is once again from RNZAF Base Ohakea Open Day in 2008.

It depicts RNZAF Lockheed C-130H Hercules, NZ7005, ‘popping flares’ high above the airfield.

The aircraft is very high in the sky, almost directly above. Behind it are approximately 60 burning flares, leaving white smoke trails in a kind of W shape.
