An unusual shot, as on this day in 2010 I was standing on the tarmac at Wellington to take this. The occasion was the opening of “The rock” (or “potato” for some people) International Terminal.
Jetstar Airbus A320, VH-VQA, climbs out from RWY16 as Air New Zealand Boeing 737-300, ZK-NGK taxies past. It was pretty close to ‘NGK’s 10th birthday, having been registered in November 2000.
