Checker

Again, I have no photos taken on this day, so have borrowed from 1st November; 2009 to be exact.

I just happened to spot the RNZAF Historic Flight’s North American AT-6 Harvard, NZ1015, parked up on Wellington’s western apron.

The aircraft is seen from almost directly in front. Its radial engine is prominent. The aircraft is a warm grey with orange tail surfaces, large red and white checkers on the cowling, a black ant-glare panel with yellow number 15 and a large black 15 under the cockpit. It is sitting on the tarmac with two light aircraft and hangars and warehouses behind.
