Today’s random air show photo is from RNZAF Base Ohakea Open Day, 2008.

It depicts RAAF General Dynamics F-111C, A8-132, lifting off from Ohakea, burners lit. It was a spirited display!

The aircraft is dark grey with black nose cone and bright red visible in the flap-wing interface. It is climbing away and to the left, nose high, with afterburners lit. The sky is overcast.
