Workhorse

SoundsAir’s fleet of Cessna Caravans are a very common sight in the middle of New Zealand, plying across Cook Strait with tenacity — often the last aircraft flying when the weather gets bad.

This beauty is ZK-TZR in the colour scheme it was received. It was later repainted in the standard SoundsAir orange and white scheme, and re-registered as ZK-SAN.

The aircraft is seen from slightly below and ahead. It is white with a dark blue underside and thick grey border to that, with an additional thick grey stripe. All demarcations are wavy. The sky is deep blue and a local hillside, green, is visible behind.
