Today’s random air show photo is of the Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk, ZK-RMH, blasting down the display line at Classic Fighters 2007, at Omaka.

I learned something recently… the design on the chin, which I have always called a “shark mouth” should, more accurately, be called a “tiger mouth”.

The aircraft is seen in flight, flying left to right. The cockpit is hidden behind the near wing It is dark olive green with a blue and white striped rudder, blue and white 'sun burst' American roundel, the number 88, a classic shark mouth, and red spinner. The sky is mostly cloudy.
